Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith have tied the knot!
The Cruel Intentions star married the Nightflyers actress in a low-key wedding, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed Friday (December 20). What’s more, the outlet reports the newlyweds are also expecting their first child!
The marriage and baby news comes a month after the stars made their red carpet debut at the 2019 AFI Fest in Los Angeles in support of Jodie’s new film, Queen & Slim. “Joshua looked so thrilled to be there to support [Jodie]. He was all smiles and doting on her and her family all night. A total gentleman,” an onlooker at the event told Us of the lovebirds, who have been a couple since November 2018.
It was also at the festival event that Smith appeared to be wearing a massive diamond ring on her left hand, sparking rumors the two had taken their relationship to the next level. Months prior, however, reports of an impending marriage for the pair started swirling in August when the Daily Mail published images of the couple a Beverly Hills courthouse, where they evidently walked out with what looked to be a marriage license — which expires after 90 days in California.
Joshua and Jodie’s love story began in October 2018 after the stars became acquainted at Usher’s 40th birthday party, where they were gossiped to be “all over each other” and “gazing into each other’s eyes as they danced together” the entire night.
